The work scope of the project is to develop key items to be used for the planning and marketing of the Coveleski Park area. As we begin to move into the development and marketing phase of this project, focused materials and images will be necessary to aid in the branding and marketing of this area. The scope includes the following: 1. Logo design and graphics standards package 2. Phase 1 promotional materials, including: a. PowerPioint templates b. Signage/banners (plus templates) c. Presentation folders 3. Print production and contingency funds The proposal is a not to exceed amount of $15,000.00 and staff requests approval of this proposal. What We Do Today Makes A Difference! VILLING & COMPANY mo~Reting tommunitotivns Estimate To: Tom Price /City of South Bend Date: January 20, 2010 RE: Estimates for Phase I of Coveleski Park Redevelopment Promotional Materials Tom, Thank you for the opportunity to present these estimates to you regarding the establishment of project identification materials as well as'Phase I' promotional materials for the Coveleski Park Redevelopment project. For the sake of organization, we've combined our services into these categories: 1. logo design and graphics standards package 2. Phase I promotional materials, including: a. PowerPoint template b. Necessary signage/banners (plus templates) c. Presentation folders 3. Project contingency & print production We've made every attempt to ensure that these figures are as detailed and comprehensive as possible at this stage. However, please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions regarding the components of this estimate. I. Logo design and graphics standards package Agency Services: These include the development of multiple logo options for consideration by the City as well as recommendations for establishing brand consistency in terms of the naming of the project. Once a logo has been selected, we would also include a simple graphics standards document in order to ensure logo and naming consistency in documents and materials that maybe necessary well after the initial round of materials has been developed. This also includes the development of necessary logo templates for use by various City departments such as the web department. $5,000 i+/- io~- II. Phase I promotional materials Agency Service: Included among the services in this area are the following: a. PowerPoint template -After logo is developed, building a PowerPoint template that can be used by the City for presentation to internal and external audiences. b. Necessary signage/banners - If appropriate, design logo-based posters and street banners that can be utilized in the downtown area to generate awareness and maintain the buzz surrounding the park redevelopment. c. Presentation folders -Design logo-based folders that can be used by the City to house project documents and updates necessary for internal and public meetings and presentations. $5,000 (+/- io~oi Estimate does not include any outside costs associated with these projects, mainly, printing of folders and/or posters and banners. III. Project cost contingency & print production Based on the parameters of the project as outlined in this estimate, total costs for this project will not exceed $15,000 (including necessary printing costs) without prior authorization from the City of South Bend.
