The Clerk of the Board was directed to notify these departments and organizations of
this order.
ELECTRIC DEPARTItIENT: 1'+'Ir. L. L. Thompson, Agent for the Grank Trunk Railroad Co., appear-
ed before the Board with reference to removing some of the street lights at the, crossing
of the Grand Trunk Railroad tracks and the streets which intersect same. Mr. Qualls,
Mr. Ernest Miller and Mr. Thompson decided to inspect these intersections after dark
and make a report of their findings to the Board.
The report of Mr. Qualls with reference to the petition for a street light at
the intersection of Vine and 30th Sts., was accepted_. Mr. Qualls does not recommend
a light at this intersection,
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at
11:00 A. D1.

Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, from the VVest line of Brookfield Street to the east
line of the, first alley running north and south and lying west of Brookfield Street.

Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the following resolution
was adopted, that, continuation certificates will not be accepted, hereafter, as the
Board desires renewal of the bond so the responsibility will be accumulative.
ELECTRIG DEPARTMENT: A petition for a street light in the middle of the block on 27th
St.," between Mishawaka Ave., and lWall St., was turned over to Mr, Qualls, Superintendent
for investigation and report.
CEMETERY DEPARTI,11ENT: IdTr. Lisle McNabb, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining to
his department ore `discussed.
`I,tr. McNabb presented his financial report for the month of ;larch, 1941. This
report was ordered filed.
'Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the following resolution
was adopted,.that, the City Hall be closed on Friday.. April 11, 1941, which is Good
Friday and a ,legal holiday in the State of Indiana,
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned
at 11:00 A. M.
