at 9 .-00 A. TT. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read and
approved. Salary claims in the amount of �6591.16 were approved and -ordered paid.
Claims of the following suppliers in the amount of $7619.87 were approved and ordered
paid.

BUILDING DEPAR`i ;�F;t T: It was moved, seconded and unanimously adopted that the Building
ormr.iss over waive all fees for budding; permits issued to the Paris Department.
Harold -Maurer, Architect and Hr. 71. '.delber, one of the officials of Robertson
Brothers Department Store, Inc., concern ope-r•ates a department store in the
building on South Ticli-;an St., appeared before the Board re;_urding alterations to
•the but. lding at this address.
This building extends from the alley on T:ichi:.an St. running; East and West
between Jefferson Blvd. and `;layne St, north 110,58 feet on the :^Yest side of Michigan
St. It ,Tas pointed cut that the pilasters of ,she present building extend out into
the street four inches, that they plan to remodel the building and cut.down the
encroachment so that the building as remodeled will extend into the street approxim:atel
2-1/2" They, therefore, ask permission of the Board to proceed rich the. work and
remodel the building according to these Mans.
on motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board now grants their
approval to remodel the building in acco =c_ance with these plans.
• Mr. Qualls presented a. reouest from the Indiana Bell Telephone Company for a
permit to, run their cable triru underground conduits, underground eLTori�, for which was
laid last year, therefore, only one Manhole is. now required, fich manhole will be
located in the parkway at Prairie Ave. and -Leon Court, which request is now granted
by the Board, subject to obtaining an excavation permit from the City Engineering
Department, y
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned
at 12:15 P. I.
