Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Yonday, ITay 1, 1939, at
9:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous rneetino were read and
approved. Payrolls of the Street Department and Special W.P.A. were approved in the
amount of �4,015.22 and claims of the following suppliers in the amountof �2,332.35
were approved and ordered paid:

1dr. Janes Pensinger of P'ensinger Oil Company appeared before the Board asking for
approval of filling station at Circle Avenue and asked t=_e approval of the 3oard on the
driveways, designated in the blueprint submitted. Tne blue?-rint indicated two 30 foot
driveways and a 21 foot drivewavr. lvTr. Pensnrer stated that arram-er-_ents had been grade
to reduce the width of the two driveways to 25 feet to conform with the recuire��ents of
the Board of r4orks, and he was i nsta: tucted to amend his plans accordin-ly and file a
copy with the Board and upon the a:..end=ent of the _plans s=, ,;ring 25 foot dri vewaJs, the
same wi 1 be a_r_,TDroved and accepted by t1le 3card.

V ir. Zmudzinski was roresent and matters pertaining to his department were discussed
TTr. Zmudzinski re_-orted the need of a storm sewer on `:;lest Dayton Street one-half block
in length.

to Greenlawn Avenue, was f-led aLth the Board, recuest-'ing that such repairs as are nec-
essar,T to put the street in good condition be m_ade. David BorlevT appeared personally
before the Bcard on behalf of the petitioners. TIr. 3orley was advised of the inecomomy
of etching the nrornout pavement.

No. 9 and No. 10 Fire Stations. The Chief was ai:thc:rized by the Board to order the
