M. to hear and receive remon- strances from all persons interested in or affected by said Vacation Resolution No. 2.4!?9 d the Board furtler orders that notices of said hearing be advertisi& in two newspapers in South Behd on January 3, 1939, and January 10th, 1939, and that notices together with the amount of damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners according to law. ✓ A delegation representing the South Bend and Mishawaka Coal Dealers' Association was present along with Mr. Charles Burns, City Sealer, and Mr. Don Gates of the Civic Planners' Association, to dis-cuss the matter of purchasing a new City scale. Decision in thematter was postponed until the next meeting of the Board on December 27th. ✓ A�,group representing the National Safety Council, including Mr. Harry Boldt, was present to discuss the matter of purchasing new traffic signal lights to replace the overhead signals now in use. Decision in the matter was postponed until further dis- cussion of the matter might be -.had in the meeting of the Board on December 27th.
