S�A petition asking for the - gradin-g � of an alley west of Franklin Street between Donald and Calvert was referred to -the Street Department for attention. fThe Board approved fire and theft insurance in the Wolverine Insurance Company on the Street Department equipment, covering a period of one year from dune 5,`1938. ✓Continuation Certificates covering bonds were approved in favor of the following:' V. R. Britton, Herman Y. Glaser; 'George McNabb, and were filed with the original bond. Mr. Longenecker, City, Sexton, submitted his -report of activities of the Cemetery Department for the month -of May-9-showing collections of $31-40.45, of which $2684.45 • is for perpetual care.
