Mr. Wm. Qualls reported upon a request of the Indiana & Michigan Electric Com-
pany for permission to .reconstruct the man -hole at the intersection.of Western Ave-
nue and Main Street, as shown on blue print.No. 138-32. Mr. Qualls reported having
!investigated thoroughly the condition of the present man-hole,.and in view of the
• fact that it is built of brick and.a condition of cracking and crumbling has become
in evidence, recommended that this be rebuilt with concrete con-struction. The Board,
after considering the request, authorized the change with the understanding that Mr.
Qualls' suggestion be carried out. The Indiana & Michigan Electric Company was so
!notified.
1 ✓ Continuation Certificate covering excavation Bond in favor of Chas. R. Doran
!was approved by the Board.
✓ A communication was received from the State highway Commission with reference to
maintenance of streets in the City which are designated as State Highways, in which
it was stated that the Commission has had men regularly employed to take care of the
State roads within the City, and that should the City be required to help,the Commis-
sion would pay for such service.
�A petition requesting the erection of a street light at the Corner of Greenlawn
and LaSalle was referred to Mr. Qualls for investigation and report.
The Board approved the plat of Wilmette Park Addition, to the City of South,
�w'hich comprises and is described as follows:
DEDICATION
The annexed plat of the Town of 9-ilmette Park, in 5t. Joseph County, Indiana,..14;
laid out and platted on the following described tract of land, situate in said County
land State, to -wit:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Qugr-

The plat contains 66 lots, numbered asfollows, viz; Lots Nos. 16 to 29 inclus
ive Lots No. 70-to 74 inclusive; Lots Nos. 76 to 83 inclusive; Lots Nos. 85 and 86;
Lots, Nos. 89 to 94 inclusive; Lot- Nos. 1 N5 to 139 inclusive; Lots Nos. 142 to 152
inclusive; Lots Nos. 155 and 156, and tracts lettered B, C and D.
The size of the lots are marked on the plat in feet and fractions thereof . The
Streets indicated on said plat are hereby dedicated to the public sof highway purposes.
the easements indicated on the plat along the several lot lines are reserved'for the
exclusive use of public utilities The building or set back line shall be 30 feet from
the front lot line as indicated on the plat.
Florence H. Webster -is the legal owner of the folloiAring described real estate;
Beginning at a point 40 feet -,West end 240 feet North of the center of Section No. 32,

in proposed Wilmette -Park Addition to South Bend; which is within and a part of the

and adopting and conirmin g the platting of said land above described into lots to be

William Parsons Sibley and Helen Gish Sibley, husband and wife, are the legal own-

269 feet to the place of beginning, being known as Lot No. 151 on the proposed plat of
Wilmette Park Addition in Clay Township; which is within and a pert of the tract herein -
above described, and join herein for the purpose of dedicating said plat and adopting
and fonfirming the platting of said land above described into lots to be hereafter known
as Lots Nos. 149 and 150 in the Town of dilmette Park.
