All members were present. ✓ Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.. Claims in the amount �of $82.71 from the following suppliers were approved and ordered. paid. Also payroll of the Street, Seer, and. Cemetery Department labor for the last half of February were approved. Northern Indiana Public Service 1.71 Firmints Electrical Specialties $ 2.88 A. L. McCaffery 10.00 This being the date set for hearing of Vacation. Resolutions No. 2491, 2492, and 24.93, being Vacation of.alleys in a section of the City in the vicinity of Erskine Boulevard, Eckman Street, Oakside Street, and Irvington Avenue. No remonstrators appeared, but the Board postponed definite action for two weeks as easements for public utilities to serve the property had not been filed. Mr« Longenecker, City Sexton, submitted his report for the month of February, showing a collection of $1116.94 of which 41011.44 is for perpetual care. A petition was presented by 10 interested parties requesting that North Mich- igan Street from 314 North Michigan Street to Madison Street be improved by setting back curbs and removing tracks and all poles and overhead equipment of the Northern Indiana Railway Company not now in use. The Board directed that this petition be sent to the State Highway Commission for their attention. ✓ Mr. Anderson reported with reference to the grading of an alley between Morris and Gertrude Streets from Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue that the Board will find it possible to comply with the petition if the W. P. A. will cooperate. The petition was placed on file. A petition was received signed by 14 residents in the affected district, asking that an alley between Studebaker and Birdsell Street be graded and cindered. This smatter was referred to the Street Department for attention. ..The Board approved the plat of Coquillard Woods Addition, Section "B", to the ;;City of South .Bend, which comprises and is described as follows: DEDICATION �ISTATE OF INDIANA ) i SS I ST. The plat contains Twenty-four (24) lots numbered from Two Hundred Seventy-six 1(276) to iNro Hundred Ninety-nine (299), both inclusive. The size of the lots are marked.on the plat in feet and fractions thereof. i The streets indicated on said plat are hereby dedicated to the public for highway ,purposes. The easements indicated on the plat along the several lot lines are reserve �for-the exclusive use of public utilities. The building or setback lines shall be ,Forty (40) Feet from the front lot line; and Fifteen (15) Feet from the South line of 'Corby Street; and Fifteen (15) Feet from both sides of Campau Street, as indicated on the plat.
