Regular meeting of the Board.of Public Works was held on Monday, July 26, 1937,
at 10:45 A. M. All members were present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Claims from the following suppliers in the amount of $756.37 were approved and
ordered paid, also payroll of the various departments amounting to $2,222.2.6.

South Bend Wholesale Drug Co, 8000

J. A. Orr Company 1.95
E. R. Newland Company, 1.60
Mr. ,Anderson, City Civil Engineer, reported upon the petition for the construc-
tion of a sewer for a distence of 538 �ft: on Duey Street from South Bend Avenue
north,.stating that the amount of $600.00 would need to be raised by the owners and
the petitioners were notified to this effect.

" Excavation bond in favor of the Sinclair Refining Company in the United States
Guaranty Company was approved by the'Board.
Continuation certificate of excavation bond in favor of Delbert McNabb was
approved by the Board.
The Board issued instructions to place the public liability insurance on the
Street Department equipment with W. G. Elliott at his bid of $499.33.
The St. Joseph Heating Company submitted blue print of proposed steam main
for the Hotel Hoffman, which was approved by the Board.
The meeting adjourned at 11:15 A. M.
