Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Claims in the amount of1,167.18, from the following suppliers, were approved and ordered paid, also payroll of the various departments amounting to $5,674.37. Mr. Qualls submitted a sketch of the lights in that vicinity and recommended that this change be not made. The Board concurred. A communication was received from the Studebaker Corporation advising that the City may use vacant lot south of the new No. 2 Fire Station on South Lafayette Street for the purpose of recreation and making flower beds, with the understanding that this does not in any way create a lien or easement on said real estate but is merely a license given without consideration which may be revoked at will by the Studebaker Corporation. Continuation certificate covering contractor's bond of Frank Sailer was approved for a period of one year.
