Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, April 12,
1937, at 10:30 A. M. All members were present.

A communication was received from. the Flack Cigar Company, 214 West Wayne
Street, requesting that curb be cut back to the outer edge of the sidewalk in
front of their business to facilitate parking. After carefully considering this
request, the Board felt it would not be justified in granting it and the Flack
Cigar Company was so notified.
Contractor's bond in favor of Harry N. Barnes in the United States Fidelity
and Guaranty Company of Baltimore was approved by the Board.
Excavation bond in favor of Charles R. Doran in the Employers Liability
Assurance Corporation was approved by the Board.
Mr. Weer reported regarding the activities of the Street Department for the
month. of March, which report is on file in the office of the Board of Public Works.
The meeting adjourned at 11:00 A. M.
