Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Wednesday, March 17, 1937,
at 11:30 A. M. All members were present.
The purpose of this meeting was to finally consider bids for the improvement
and reconstruction of Fire Station No. 2 located at 817 South LaFayette Street.
jIn conformity with previous bids, contracts were placed with the following
contractors:
Platz & Gill ------------------- General Contrast------------- $9;286:.00
Alternate #1----------------- 297.00
Alternate #2 -------------- 395.00
Total9978.00
Niesgodski Brothers---- -------- Plumbing 8c Heating------------ $1,227.00
Electrical Construction Co. ----Electrical Contract----------- $279.25
These contracts were placed with the understanding that the Platz & Gill
contract be completed within ninety days from date and the Electrical Construction
Company and Niesgodski Brothers within fifteen days after the building is in
condition to receive the services and other final finishing work.
The purpose of the meeting having been accomplished, it was adjourned
at -12:00 noon.
