MEETING September 21, 19 36_
Regular meeting of . the Board of Public (forks was held on 11ondey, September 21, 1936
at 10:30 A. M. All members were present.
141inutes of previous meeting were read and. approved.
Claims in the amount of $199.72, from the f ollowing suppliers, were approved and
ordered paid, also payroll of the various departments amounting to $1,400.86.

This being the date set for hearing of Vacetion Resolution #2486, the resolution
was presented to the Board and no objectors were ?resent. In considering the matter,
Mr. Anderson, City Civil Engineer, requested that definite action be postponed for
two weeks, on account of certain developments which have arisen. By regular motion,
seconded and carried, action upon this resolution was postponed until 1:onday, October
5th.
Complaint was received from residents in the vicinity of 509 `-,`lest LIarion Street
that a tree growing next to the alley extended its branches over the alley, causing
inconvenience and danger. The matter was referred to the Street Departr,,ient to arrange
to trim this tree.
T iss Kathleen 11. Srdallzried appeared bef-cre the Board and requested the privilege
of replacing the present refuse cans in the City -°vith another can and to display
advertising on them. after a full discussion of the matter, the Board decided to
withhold their action for one week to give an opportunity of investigating the
Practicability and possibility of granting, such a request.
