A petition was received from 18 residents in the first and second block on North Jackson Street, requesting that a street light be erected at the corner of Jackson Street and Colfax_ Avenue. The matter was referred to Mr. Qualls for investigation and report. Mr. Anderson reported in reference to the filling station driveway at the north- east corner of South Bend Avenue and Georgiena Street. Due to the fact that the station is owned by a non-resident, it is impossible to force him to replace the curb but that the City could replace it at its own expense. The Clerk of the Board was instructed to notify the tenant at the filling station to request the owner to have the curb replaced. The meeting adjourned at 10:30 A. Y. ATTEST:Clerk arcs of PubiS.c No
