Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on 111-onday, July 13, 1936,
at 11:15 A. M. All members were present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Claims, from the following

ordered paid, also payrolls for
several departments amounting to $32,088493.

A communication was received from the ht11. B. Skinner Company of South Bend, asking
for service on Falcon Street in the gray of trimming the parkways of the roots and.
shoots of trees and also the mowing of weeds. The matter was referred to the Street.
Department.
A sketch was presented to the Board submitted by Robert Walser for change in
approach to Filling Station at Michigan Street and East Oakside. The matter was
referred to the City Engineer who approved the sketch with modifications, permitting.
30 ft. opening only.
Increased coverage on the office of the Street Department in the amount of $500.00,
in the Indiana Lumberman's Miutual Insurance Company was approved and filed with original
policy,
Continuation certificate covering excavation bond of Orville Shoemaker was
approved and filed with the original bond.
Excavation bond in favor of Charles S. Barker and Fred Spromberg, also that of •
Delbert 11cNabb in the New York Casualty Company were approved and ordered placed on file
Contractors bonds in favor of John Wachowiak and Sherman E. r;letzger were approved
by the Board.
The meeting adjourned at 11:40 A. 171.
