Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, June 8, 1936, at
11:30 A. 110 All members were present.
Minutes of previous meeting, were read and approved.
Claims in the amount of 1,037.35, from the following suppliers, were approved and
ordered paid, also payroll of the various departments for the first half of June in
the amount of $5,118.01.

Contractor's bond in favor
of Michael
Tomaszewski far $1,000.00 was approved
and
placed on file.
Continuation certificate in favor of Charles W. Aulm was approved and filed with
original contractor's bond.
Communication was received from the Indiana Lumberman's 11.1 ,tual Insurance Company
in regard to Policy 1720361, covering Street Department office building increasin
the amount from $2,500.00 to $3,000.00, and applying the old policy on the new building. •
Proper record has been made in the office of the Board of Public Works.
The matter of repairing boilers in the City Hall or purchasing city heat for the
coming winter was discussed and the Secretary was instructed to communicate with the
Indiana & Michigan Electric Company and ascertain their best proposition for converting
the heating system in the City Hall.
Mrs. Margaret Baumbath, 714 Marietta Street, requested that the first alley south
of -Bronson Street, running east from Marietta Street, be oiled. The Secretary was
instructed to write her to secure the oil and notify the Street Department to spreed it.
Renewal certificate of franchise bond in the American Surety Company of New York,- •
in favor of the Indiana Bell Telephone Company, was approved and placed on file with
the original bond.
The meeting adjourned at 12:00 noon.
