MEETING June 1. 1936
Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, June 1, 1936, at
10:45 A. M. All members were present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Claims in the amount of $368.70,, from the following suppliers, were approved and
ordered paid.

A complaint was received from Mrs. Hill in reference to detour at the
Bottle Neck,
claiming that the streets in that
vicinity
now being used should be oiled
on account
of the dusty condition of streets.
The matter was referred to the Street
Department.
The matter of bad condition created at Logan Street and North shore Drive, which
-was referred to the City Attorney, was reported .on and now referred to Mr. Anderson
for further investigation.
Mr. William Longenecker, City Sexton, submitted his report for the month of May,
showing collections of $180.00 for perpetual care and $431.75 for maintenance and
general care of the Cemetery. This report is on file in the office of the Board of
Public.Works.
A petition signed by five property owners on blest Dunham Street in the 2500 block,
requesting that sewer be installed on West Dunham Street from Olive to Meade Street,
was received. This petition was referred to Mr. Anderson for investigation and
recommendation.
Fire and theft insurance -policy in the Wolverine Insurance Company, covering the
• Street Department fleet, was approved as placed with T. J. Ewer.
The meeting adjourned at 11:15 A. Y.
