All members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Claims in the amount of $103.98, from the following suppliers, were approved and ordered paid, also payrolls of the various departments amounting to $1,400.86. Burroughs Adding Machine Company $52.96 G. 0. Thurn for J. N. Hunter, P. 10.00 . Office Supply & Equipment Co., Inc. 41.00 Mr. W. A. Slick and Mr. Fred Keller, representing property.owners at the north- east corner of LaFayette Blvd. and LaSalle Street, were present and presented a plan for filling station at this corner for approval. After considering the matter fully, the Board requested the privilege of withholding definite decision for one week. Surety Bond in the amount of $10,000.00 in the Massachusetts Bonding and Insurance Company in favor of James H. Pierce, covering period from December 31, 1935 to December 31, 1936 applying to the contract held by Mr. Pierce for the removal of garbage, was approved by the Board. Mr. J. C. Weer submitted report of the activities of the Street and Sewer Depart- ments for the year 1935. This report is on file in the office of the Board of Public Works. Mx. Weer reported the cost of removing snow from January lst to 4th, inclusive, 1936, showing an expense of $965.41. This report is on file in the office of the Board of Public Works. . Excavation bonds in favor of.the following were approved by the Board and are on file in the office of the Board of Public Works: Herman L. Neupert - Great American Indemnity Company William L. Turnock - Great American Indemnity Company Joseph IFi. Hiznay - Royal Indemnity Company Continuation certificates in favor of the following,covering excavation bonds, were approved by the Board and are on file: Edward L. Zimmerman, Thomas E.
