This matter was referred to the City Attorney for investigation and recommendation. .: Mr. B. S. Haswell addressed a communication to the Board with reference to the activities of the W.P.A:-workers in connection with regrading of alleys and called particular attention to a condition that has arisen in his alley. The matter was referred to Mr. J. C. Weer. Continuation certificate on excavation bond in favor of Thilman Brothers in the Maryland Casualty Company was approved. Communication was received from William C. Blackmore of McConnell, Blackmore & Cory in reference to franchise for the municipal operation of busses.
