The meeting adjourned at 2:10 P. Board of Public Works ATTEST: Clerk SPECIAL, MEETING November 14, 1935 Special meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Thursday, November 14, 1935, at 10:00 A. M. All members were present. This being the date set, hearing was had on the Assessment Roll showing awards and damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of Cherry Street from the north to the south line of the New York Central right-of-way, same being Vacation Resolution #2478. In the above named Assessment Roll no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed. The Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of delivery of notices and same were found to be sufficient. A letter from the Malleable Steel Range Manufacturing Company setting forth the fact that it was their understanding when Cherry Street was closed at the elevation that a passage way for Pedestrians would be provided which was fully considered by the Board, but the matter of closing Cherry Street, as covered by the above named Vacation Resolution, being a matter of contract on which was based the elevation project, no further consideration could be given to such. The Board, therefore, finds that the several lots and parcels of land, having been benefitted and damaged in the amounts as shown on said Roll and decides to take final action on said Assessment Roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed and said part of Cherry Street covered.by the above named Vacation and all proceedings had with reference to said Vacation are hereby sustained. This being a special meeting and there being no further business, the Board adjourned at 10:45 A. M. ATTEST:— Clerk • M Board of Public Works
