cost he asked the Water Works for a price which was given him at $58.70. After the
work Was done, he claimed he was charged an additional $33.44 which. Lir. Bradford
statedstated had always been the charge before, although this was contradicted by all of
the members of the Plumbing Association present. At this point there was a secret
conference between the Board and Mr. Bradford. The result of which was that
Mr. Smith was refunded the $33.44
The meeting adjourned at 12:10 P. M.

SPECIAL MEETING AUGUST 29 1935
Special meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Thursday, August 29,
1935 for the purpose of introducing the following Resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works and Safety that the Common Council
request the Judge of the St. Joseph Circuit Court to appoint appraisers to
appraise the buildings upon property condemned by this Board under its
Condemnation Resolution Number 2481, which buildings become the property of the
City upon payment for the real estate upon which the same are situated and a
list of which buildings are hereto attached and made a part hereof.
Adopted this 29th day of August, 1935.
