Works was held on Monday, August 19, 1935 Minutes of regular meeting of August 12th were read and approved. Claims in the amount of 1,O06.53, from the following suppliers, were approved for payment. Indiana Bell Telephone Co.. $26.35 Indiana Bell Telephone Co. 25.19 Indiana Bell Telephone Co. 27.00 Indiana Bell Telephone Co. 2.50 Indiana Bell Telephone Co. 2.40 Indiana Bell Telephone Co. 1.35 Indiana Bell Telephone Co. 159.14, Indiana Bell Telephone Co. Office Supply & Equip. Co., City Water Works Bob Morgan Schuyler Rose Office Engineers, Inc. Crown Rock Co. 1.20 Inc. 2.70 15.88 18.00 194.54 4.58 625.70 Mr. G. F. Witt appeared before the Board in regard to traffic signal petitioned for at Walnut Street and Lincoln Way West. The Traffic Survey Committee reported unfavorably on installation of signal at this location and Mr. Witt was advised no action.would be taken by the Board at this time. A Petition was received, signed by twenty-three residents of Marine Street and vicinity, requesting that alley between 1721 and 1725 Marine Street and extending from Marine Street to alley parallel to Marine in West be closed and was referred to Mr. Anderson for investigation and recommendation. A Petition, signed by twenty-five residents, asking for street light at inter- section of Dayton Street and Mumford Court was referred to Mr. Qualls for investigation. and report at the next meeting of the Board. A communication was read from Christian Pretz calling attention to need of repair to roadway in front of 3020 Buckingham Drive, due to disintegration of concrete. The matter was referred to Mr. Weer, Street Commissioner. • A letter from the Inland Agency, Inc. in connection with the Assessment Roll for the grade, curb and walk on Jefferson Boulevard from 18th Street to 26th Street, under Assessment Roll #1901, Duplicate #27207 and asking that assessment be re -spread was referred to Mr. Anderson. Another communication from the Inland Agency, Inc. in regard to Assessment Roll for the grade, curb and walk 18th Street under Assessment Roll #1616, Duplicate #18934 and requesting that assessment be respread against the lots effected was referred to Mr. Anderson. It was moved, seconded and carried that gasoline for the Building Department be purchased through the Police Department. • The meeting adjourned at 11:00 A.
