Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday May,20,1935 at
11 A.M.All members were present. `
Claims in the amount of 4474.95 were approved for payment.

This being the time for hearing on condemnation procedings.Laesolution 248 and
there being no- developments. to enable action to be taken,the hearing was continu
j to Thursday morning May 23rd at 10.30 A.M.
I H2O.Clayton who has leased vacant lot at 130 No Main St belonging to the South
Bend Tribune made; the following requests.
l# Erect, at a location determined, by and in
i accordance with the specifications of the City
Building commissioner,a suitable shelter for a "
parking lot attendant;and
Install suitable lighting and advertising
equipment to.carry on said business at night,said
equipment to include a sufficient number of lamps
with reflectors and. to also include a suitable neon
sign.
The Board concurred in'the petition.
Petition for re sub -division of a parcel of property in Miami Heights addition
Duplicator 37520-51168 and 39636'werersubmited by Leo A.Newman 2106 So Leer St
Same was approved by the Board and refdrrdd to the Engineering Dept.
An estimate of cost for remodleing the Controllers office amounting to $265.45
Was approved by the Board.
dantinuation certificate of the Fleck Plumbing Co in the Maryland CasusltyCo
was approved.
Mr Weer and the City Engineer were requested to investigate the equipment of tt
Street Dept for the purpose of covering it with Fire Insurance which expires
June 5 .,19 35 .
