Regular meetine of the Board of Public 01orks was held at 10:30 A. 11. February 11, 1935,
all menfluers present.
John Vance of 27,33 Calvert St. requested the improvement of Calvert St. from Clive to
Dundee. The matter was referred to the Street Department.
Mr. qu^lls appeared before the Board and requested permission to remove a 6000 Lumen
lamp at VValnut end Western Ave. and to install a 1000 Lumen lamp. '�ualls stated
the letter would. give sufficient light and the Board approvedthe change.
The ouestion of a signal system for the underpass at YIestern Ave. and 'ffelnut was
brought up by 17r. "ualls end he was instructed to make up an estimate of the cost end
report at next meeting.

on account of the apparent discrepencies in several ordinances the mi-q-tter was referred
to' the Coro.-r4on Council.

pares referred to the City Attorney.
?'ugh P. Dunnahoo requested release on the bond of Oscar A. Heinrich d.-nted October 30,
1933 and as there were no charges against Mir. Heinrich the Board -ap-proved the release.
Continuation certificate on the bond of 0. A. Eulitz in the Continental Casualty Co.
w a s approved by the board,
Continuation certificate on the Bond of Hari-,"Y Nicodemus in the 11rryland, C-, u-,lty Co.
was approved by the Boerd.
Continuation certificate on the Bond of the ' Distler Plumbing, and Feating Co. of
Y'ishpraka in the Aetna Casualty and Surety Co. was approved by the Donrd.
Report of the Examining Board for the -position of City Electrician wF.s read and action

regard to establishinp, a central purchasing department and after some discussion it
wes moved, seconded qnd- carried that Fiction be deferred until next 1-onday.

T"f P. Co., which the City wishes to acquire for the Western Ave. widening project.
The agreement is placed on file.

expiring on February 18, 1935
on City Garage and Repair Shop
now placed in two policies for -.�8,000.00
each with the Scottish Union and National Insurance Company and the
London and Lancashire Insurance
Company. The Board instructed him to
