EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 2-2013
Establishment of Open Data Policy and Portal for Public Information
Notice is hereby given that on the 22nd day of August 2013, the Mayor of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, executed Executive Order No. 2-2013 which provides:
1. That a single web portal shall be established and maintained by the City of South
Bend -to facilitate easy and open citizen access to maximum public data consistent
with the Access to Public Records Act (APRA); that that an Open Data
Management Team oversee implementation and management of the Open Data
Portal; that each City Department or Commission designate an Open Data
Coordinator to work with the Open Data Management Team; and that an Open
Data Report be submitted annually to the Mayor by the Open Data Management
Team.
2, The Clerk of the City of South Bend shall cause a notice of this Executive Order,
and the action taken herein, to be published under Indiana Code 5-3-1 and in
accordance with Indiana Code 36-4-9-6 (e).
3. This Executive Order shall become effective immediately upon execution.
