Board met in regular session at 3 P.I. All members present. oity Engineer,
William S.. Tmoore, absent on account of absence from the City. Yinuees of meeting held
Monday, June, 25th., 1934, read and approved.
The Board ordered the Secretary of the Board to cancel second publication for
proposals on street lighting contract due to a change in specifications.
The Board approved. the excavation Bond of Samuel J. Frame in the sum of 01,000.00
signed by the United States Fidelity and. Guaranty Company.
. The monthly report of 0. P. 'rise, Sexton of the City Cemetery was filed showing
a b el€an ce of 50 vaults nor-1 on hand. .
A resolution of the South -bend Exchange Club with reference to taking steps in an
effort to extinguish the muck fire in the south west section of the City in the Bellevil
industrial. Said resolution read and ordered placed on file.
The -board, hereby, orders that all City Employees in all departments must pay
their water bills at once if delinquent. Unless same are paid at once, steps will be
taken to have the amount of delinquencies retained from pray checks.
The Board approved the plans for a relief sewer on Sunnyside Avenue between
Sunnymede and Yonroe Streets. Said relief sewer to be built with F. E. B. A. Labor
and materials furnished by 7Nhitcomb and Keller.
The Board approved claims for various departments in the sum of 626.97 and hereby
orders City Controller to pay same as soon as possible.
