This being the date set, adjourned meeting of the Foo rd of Public Works was
held at 9 A. E. All members present. Leyor = . 1. Trinkle snd City Attorney, T. S.
Romig, also present
The matter of the purchase of a Vreet Sweeping unit was discussed and pro-
posals which were received. on Londay, April loth., 1954, were considered. After
careful consideration, the Foar- decides to postpone '.lie final dicision in this matter
until Wedtesday evening at 7-30 $ at which time a special meeting of the Board will be
held in the office of the Board .
The Board instructed the Secretary of the Board to pc epa.re level advertise-
ments and hove salve published, for the purchase of a motor drawn 1500 gallon Street
Flusher T ith sprinkling attachments and sewer cleaning attachments, mounted on a
chassis guaranteed to carry the load. Said proposals to be received on I!ay 7th.,
1934, up to 3 P. Y.

Upon the advise of City Attorney, T_. S. Romig, the Board hereby awards the
contract for the Street LerRrtment Sveeping Unit to the Austin -Western toad Epchinery
Company at their price of 16,525.00 and the Board signed the fo?lowi.ng Contract with
said Austin -Western Road Iachinery Company, subject to the approval of the Common Coun-
