The ratter of furnishing a telephone in the homeof Bryan J. hoe, Tfealth Offic
er, was discussed'and the Board decided that, in view of the fact that said officer is
receiving his regular salary from the City, he would have to assume and pay for his own
! telephone the same as other city_ employees.
The board approved claims for various departments in the sum of t�433.90; the
Board also_appr.ovec� claims for rrkate-iels and suppCN lies for the . . A., in the sum. of
388.96, and hereby orders. city Con' -roller to pay same as soon as possible.
Upon the re commenda ti on of WilliamF F. 'ua lls , the Board ordered the installa-
tion of an iron pole at the North_ Eost corner of Y'ichipen and LaSalle Avenue to relieve
the toresent load of wires from-t he . build ing at this location.
