The hoard a.pprovea the renewal certificate for excavation Tond in favor of
C. A. Fulitz, in the sum of 1,000.00 signed by Continental Casualty Company.

ments.
The 'Bor rd. approved claims for various departments in the sum of `5,2,466.62
Ipnd. hereby orders City Controller to pair same as soon as possible.
'fhe -board approved claims for materials pnt supplies for the C. Irv. A. work
!in the City I -Tall and Fire Stations in the sum of >317.19 and hereby orders City Controll
er to' pay some.

j The Boerd 2pproved the renewal certificate for the excavation bond of
Adolph Dutrieux fir. Co., in the sum of < 1,000.00 signed by 'The Fidelity and Casualty
Companv of DTe?,' York.
George A. Schock, attorney for Steve Sypachalski, appeared before the
Board -ith a written ar-reement for the settlement of a claim against the city of South
Bend for persona 1 dam?pes received by said Spyche lski w1h ile employed by the Street
llepartment. Said agreement asked for damages in the sum of '990.00 together with the
?oazrnient of doctor bill in the sum of ?111.33. After duscussion of said matter, the
Board decides to take the matter up ,-Tith the Cabinet and with the City Attorney.
The Board approved claims for various departments in the sum of `�8,366.82
in.cludinp the street liFhtinp bill for the month of January 1934.
