meetings held November 9th . , 1932, read end approved.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the improvement resolution for the
construction of e local sewer in Duey Street from Howard Street to South Bend Avenue
under Improve men t Resolution No. 2475:
In the above naL ed improvement resolution, klr. I.T. T=. Dinan appeared before the
Board remonstrating against said improvement and the Board decides to continue h-earing
on said improvement until Tuesday, November 22n_d. , 1932 , at 10:00 A. PVI.
City Engineer, IT. G. 7ray, filed. the jTima.ry ssessment roll for the construction
of the local se,,vier in Huey Street from Keller Street to Bryan Street and in TVarquette
Boulevard from alley west (of O'Brien Street to HueyStreet under Improvement Resolution
j No. 2473.
In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the 29th. ,
day of November, 1932 , at 10-30 A. T;". , this Board wi 11 meet in their off ice in the
Cit y Hall to hear and re ce ive remonstrances f rom all p arsons whose property has b een
assessed for said improvement a nd w ill d ecid e whether the severffil lots and p arcels
of land have been or -will be benefited in the amounts shown on said roll or in a greate
or less sum than that shown on said roll. The Board- further orders that notices of sai
hearing be published in the South Bend Tribune and News Times on the 18th. , day of
November and Can the 25th. , day of November, 1932, a ccording to law.
The Board approved pay roll claims for the Street and alley Department and the
Cemetery Department in the sum of $3, 603.51.
The Board approved claims for various departments in the sum of $'9,150.24.
The Board approved 'the claim of the Williston Construction Company #br the
pavement of railroad track area on Western Avenue in the sum of $4,206.82 and hereby
orders the City Controller to pay some out of Track Elevation Fund.
