Board net in mgular session at 10 00 A. M. All members present. Minutes of
meeting held Tuesday, October llth. , 1932, read and approved.
The Board approved the PL?t of I'Liddlefield with the following dedicati-on:
DEDICATION FOR PLAT OF MIDDLFFIFELD
The annexed plat is a plat of Middlefield, an addition to the City of South;
Bend, Indiana, and comprises the following described tract of land:_, to -wit:
The West one half (M of the east one half (-I) of the northwest one .quarter
(4) of Section Four (4), %i,,,nship Thirty-seven (37T North, range Two (2) East.
The plat contains 188 lots numbered from 1 to 188 inclusive.
The size of the lots and the widths of the streets and alleys are marked on
!Ithe plat in feet and decAtals of feet.
The ""tre et s and Alleys are hereby, dedicated to the Public for use as highways
only.

The Board ins tr uc t ed Ule rk of the Board to have the Street Commissioner arrange
,for one of the night men in the Street llepar tment Garage turn off the lights in the
City Parking Light at eleven o'clock or a little later. This is done because of the
fact that the Parking Lot attendent is on duty from 10(0clock in the morning; until
', 10 O' Cloc k at night but the need for lights l,ater than this hour is imperative due
to the fact that some of the patrons of the Paiking Lot are attending the theaters
and. have expressed fear of ie turning to -the darkened Parking Lot at the late hour.
The Boa rd has asked the Field examiners of the State Boe rd of Accounts to give
:the Cemetery Department a special audit and to. file the report with this Board, -
The Board approved claims for various departments in the sum of P'17,066.18
