I Board met in regular session at 10:00 A. II. All members present. T:inutes of
meetings held Tuesday, Aupu.st 30th. , 1932, read and approved.
This being the date set, hearing i,as had on the Improvement Resolution No.2474
for the grad in of the alley
� r g aey west of Fra nkline Street from Calvert Street- to DonaldStreet. ( See f iles f cr copy of resolution. )
In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared protesting
against the proposed i mpro ve ment . Other property bun ers were also present advocating;
• j same. lifter hearing all persons interested in said resolution and being ilil_ly advised
in the premises, the Board finds that the bene fi is to the several 1 of s and parcels of
land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of
same as reported. by the City Civil Engineer. The Board, therefore, decides to take
final action on said improvement resolution No.2474 and declares same in all things
ratified, confirmed and app�ved without mod iiicat ion. The Property owners have ten

ys from this date to file a written remonstre nee against said improvement and the
orders that advertisements of sealed proposals for said improvement be with -held
until the ten day period for zemions tranc e has exp ire d.
By unanimous vote,. the Board decides to appoint Ceorge `VI. D'Armand as assistant
Janitor in the City Ea l to replace George TV=orris who Was hired only temporarily. The
• salary of said new assistant janitor is to be the same as that of the temporary assista.n

whom he is replacing, and said appointment to be as of Sep tember 15th. , 1932.
' The Board approved claims fo.r varioias departments in the sum o f >18, 794.15.
The Board approved pay roll claiL�ns for various departments in the sum of y7,941.94
Ii and hereby Drd.ers City Controller to par same.
