Minutes of meeting held Tuesday, August 9th. , 1932, read and approved. The hoard approved a revised plan fb r the driveway at the sout hwest corner of Lasalle Avenue and Twin Street as presented by Charles W. Cole for holycross & Nye, ovine rs . Upon a motion duly made and. seconded, it was unanimously dtoided by the Board that the City Street Department furnish the gasoline and oil in the car used by A. lei. Long, foreman. This action was, taken by the Board in vier of the fact that Mr. Long's car is in constant use in the Street Department and that Mr. Long is receiving no compen sation from the City for the use of said car. The board approved claims for various departments in the sum. of $173.49 The Board appmved pay roll claims for various departments in the sum of $5,507. The Board approved the c1a"im for trade separation worms. in the slm of $433.33 and hereby orders City Controller to pay same out of Grade Separation Fund. City Engineer, H. G. _V`4ray, filed plans and specifications and the Bc�rd adopted said plans and specifications to ether with the following Improvement Resolution: Improvement Resolution No.2474 for the grading of the alley west of Franklin Street from Calvert Street to Donald Street. (See files for copy of resolution.) In the above named improvement resolution, the Board, hereby, orders that on the 13th., day of September, 1932, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 10:00 A. lei. , to hear and receive zemons trenc es from all persons whoseprop erty may be affected by said i_mpYovement and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement, will be equal tot the estimated cost thereof. The Board further orders that noticaex of said hearing be pub- lished in the South Bend Tribune and Pews Timas on the 26th., day of August and on the 2na.. , day of September. 1932, according to law and that notices be rrriled to property owners a c cord ing to law.
