The Board approved a- revised plan fb r the driveway at the southwest corner of Lasalle Avenue and Main 6treet as presented by Charles W. Cole for Holycross & Ijye, owne rs . Upon a motion duly made andseconded, it was unanimously dtcided by the Board that the City Street Department furnish the gasoline andoil in the car used by A. M. Long, foreman. This action was, taken by the Board in view of the fact that Mr. Long's • car is in constant use in the Street Department and that Mr. Long is receiving no comp sation from the City for the use of said car. The hoard. approved claims for various departments in the sum aC y173.49 The Bard. approved pay roll claims for various departments in the sum of $5,507. The hoard approved the claim for Crade separation wor . in the sim of =$433.33 and hereby orders City Controller to pay same out of Grade Separation Fund. C itv Engineer, fi. (See files for copy of resolution.) 11 I In the above named improvement resolution, the Board, hereby, orders that on the 13th., day of September, 1932, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 10:00 A. �J. , to hear and receive :remonstrances from all persons whoseprop erty may be affected by said impTover�nt and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvemnt, will be equal tot the estimated cost thereof. The Board further orders that noticex of said hearing be pub- lished in the South Bend Tribune and News Timss on the 26th., day of August and on the i:2nd.. , day of September. 1932, according to law a.nd that notices be mailed to property j owners a c cord ing to law.
