Board met in regu.lar,session at 9 A. 111. All members present. Minutes of meeting
held July I4th. , I93I, read and approved.
City Engineer, h. G. gray, submitted Partial estimate No.I for the grade, curb
and walk improvement on washingtbn Street from center line of Olive Street to the vest
line of Bendix vrive in accordance with the te±ms of the contract between -te City and
LaSalle Construction Company, contractors, under improvement resolution No.2448. The
Boa rd signed and approved same i n the amount ofI , 703.40.
The boa rd approved the Guarantee Bond of Spadoni Company for the local sewer
improvement in Fremont -Washington street from Orange Street to canter line of Lot 19
in West End Subdivision under ImprovemE t xesolution i�o.2438 in the amount of 475.32,

The board signed the contract ci,=ith Albert Construction Company for the sheet asphal
pavement on -r-end.jx Drive from. point 10' feet north of center line of 11rumstowm Avenue
to the southerly line of Lincoln '�a ay West under Impr ovemen t Resolution No.2437 in the
amount of 5,861.60. The Bce rd approved the construction bond covering same in the
amount of 2,930.80 signed .by iLetrollolitan Casualty Co.

with the following vacation resolution:

This being the dote set, hearing was had on the assessment roll showing: the
awards of damzges and assessments of benefits in the rrn tter of the vacation of alley
west of Kal ey Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street and er Vaca tion Hesolut ion No.
24429 showing lots I to 59 inclusive in Vernon heights Addition in the name of the
School oity of -ouch Bend, Indiana, and the franchise rights of Indiana Belle Telephone
Company and the Indiana and Mich Ele ctric Cmpany, net benefit s 00.00, net d amages
00.00.
In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrat crs appeared and no written
rernonstr noes were filed. Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of service of notices as
heretofore ordered and same were found sufficient. After hearing all persons interested
in said assessment roll and being fully advised in the premises, the Board finds that
the several lots and parcels of land have been benef ited and dam,, ged in the amounts shom
on said roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take firrl action on said roll and de-
lclares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the alley vacated and. all
