Tuesday, July 7th. , I93I, 2 This being the date set, hearing was had on condemnation Resolution INTo.2446 for the opening of Walnut Street from Western avenue to the 2rd. , alley South of Western Avenue. (See f iles for copy of resolution. In the above named condemnation resolution, no remonstrators appe red and no written remonstrance was filed and_ the Board., after hearing all persons interested in said. condemnation resolution decides to take final action on said resolution and declare same in all 'thinr s ratified, confirmed and approved without roodificxa.tion. The Board no7,7- orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners and holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to -rye taken, which 1 is t or -,oll shall also describe the property beneficially affected by said condemnation. The Board, hereby, appoints Edward Pfeiffer, Ralph Osborne and Jacob Chillas to act as appraisers in determining the amounts of damages to be awarded and. benefits to be assessed against each piece of property affected by said condemnation resolution. This being; the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll showing the award of damages and assessments of benefits in the natter of the Vacaction of alley west of -Hive rsid e give from hudson Avenue to North line of alley north of Hudson avenue under Vacation -Hesolution No.2405. i In the above named assessment roll, no mmonstratorsappeared and no written re - I; monstrnnces rFrere filed. With the above modifications, the Board finds that the several lots and parcels of' li land have been damaged in the amounts shovun on said nodif 9ed roll and the Board therefor decides to take final action on said roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved as modified and the proceedings closed and a.11 proceedings had ii with reference to said c and emnat ion resolution are hereby sustained. The Board further • i orders said assessment roll delivered to Department of Finance. 272 Tuesd ay, July 7th. 9 1931. The Boa rd approved pay roll claims in the amount of �p3,648.78 for various department s. The Board appmved claims for various departments in. the mount of `�549944 and hereby orders City Controller to pay same out of paid appropriations. Pleeting adjourned at 12 O'clock noon.
