of meeting held June 23rd., I93I. read and. approved.

in the matter of the vacation of all alleys: in block bounded by .tendix Drive, Kenwood
Avenue, Kale y Street -and Linden Avenue under Vacation Resolution No.243 6.

in the above named assessment rolls, the clerk of --the Board sumit ted proof
of service of notices as heretofore ordered by the Board and sane mre found sufficient*
ivo remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed and the Board., being
fully advised n the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been
berefited and damaged in, the amounts shown on said rolls. The Board. therefore,, decides
to take final action on said assessment rolls and declares same in all things ra.tified,.
confirmed and approved and the street and alleys vacated and C 11 proceedings Imd with
reference to said vacations are hereby sustained and the proceedings eyed.
This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improvement
Resolutions :
Improvement Resolution No.2439for the local sever improvement in Huron
Street from Arnold Street to kIebster 6treet.
Improvement Resolution No.2 445 for the pavement improvement on Huron Street
from 2IIt west cf Arnold. street to Bast Uurb line of 've hs ter Street.
Improvement Resolution Ao.2444 for the pevenent improvement on Huron Street
from Arnold street to 21I1 west of Arnold Street.
In all of t1 e above mimed improvement resolutions, remonstrators appeared
but no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, after hearing all persons inter-
ested in said impmvements, hereby rescinds all former action taken on said improvet
resolutions, and declares same null and void and the Iroceedings closed.

In the above named % ca tii on resolutions, Cle rk of the Board f iles proof s
of publications of notices, domforming to the order issued by the Board and upon inspect
ion of said proofs of publications of notices, same are found to be sufficient and are
hereby ordered placed on file. Ao remonstrators cTpeared and no written remonstrances
were filed. After hearing all persons interested in said vacation resolutions, and. be-
ing fa.ly advised in the premises, the Board decides to tale final action on said reso1
utions and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modifi-
cation. The board now orders that 1 is is cr rolls be prepared of all owners and holders
of property amd. of valuable interests therein sought to be taken, which lists or rolls
shall also describe the property beneficially affected by such vacations,

curb and walk improvement on Ben:dix Drive from Crumstown Avenue to Lincoln Way Wiest -

In the above named improvemn.t resolution, property ovners waived all objections
on and in defense to any d-efct' in said p roceedings, and to any violation in lirocedure
j for the construction of street improvements as fixed by law. Whereupon the Board,
received, opened and read sealed proposals for the construction of said improvement:.

Bids having been received for the pavement on -be ndix 'rive from E!rumstown Avenue
to Lincoln Way nest under improvement resolution No.2437, the Board- this 30th., day
of June, 1931, hereby makes a preliminary order for sheet asphalt pavement as the type
of pavement with �t ich said street shall be improved and sets the 14th . , day of July
1931, as the time when said Board shall either pass on petition for a change in the

hid s having been received for the grade, curb and walk improvement on u4ashington
Street from Ul ive Otre et to rend ix Daive under Improve i,nnt Res olu tion 'No. 2448, the
Board this 30th., day of June, I93I1 hereby awards the contract for said improvement
to Lasalle Construction Go.,, at their low bid of $6,503.41.
Claims amounting to $687.56 for various departments were signed and approved
by the Board.

Avenue from %laple Street to Kosciuszko Street under Condemnation Resolution No.2413.
In the above named assessment roll, remonstrators appe?red but no written remon-
strances were filed, and after hearing all persons interested in said roll, the Board
decides to continue hearing until July 7th. , 193I, at 10:00 A. M.
Continuer r-earir_g was had on Condemnation resolution P?o.2435 for -te opening
of California Avenue from east
wa-y to line of Chicapo, Inch JeTr and ''outhern Railroad right of
`4ilber` Street. The Board hereby or�trs said l- ea ri ng continued until Tuesday
