A petition was tiled with the board. fctr the opening of Western Avenue from
Michigan 6treet to Lincoln day bast and for the construction of grade, curb, walk,
sewer and paveMnt and boulevard lights on said street.
Claims amounting to 82,957.89 for various departments were signed and approved
by the Board.
i'ay roll claims for various departments were signed and approved by the -board
in the amount of g8,253.63.
Meeting adjourned at I2 o'clock noon. '

the amount of 0778.9I.
City Engineer, H. G. Wray submitted Partial estimate No.I for the �=jade,
curb and walk improvement on Bendix Drive from Crumstown Avenue to Lincoln Way West
under Improvement Resolution No.2408. The Board

In the above named improvement resolution, the Board, hereby, orders that an
the 9th., day of Tune I93I, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at
I0:00 A. M. , to hear and receive remoostrarices from all persons interested in or affect-',
ed by said improvement and wi11 decide whether the benefits to the several lots and
parcels of land liable to -be assessed for said improvement, will be equal to the esti-
mated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board further orders" that

I; Board approved the guarantee bond. cf the Williston Construction Company
for the ra ve meet of the alley west of Main Street from Washington Street to Ist. , alley
I:' south of Washington Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.24I0, in the amount of
77.89 signed by Inland Bond ing Company.
The Board approved the renewal certificate for the excavation bond in
favor of Indian a Bell Telephone Company in the amount of $.I,000.00 signed by American
Cure t7 Compa W.
This being the date sets hearing was had on tae assessment roll for the
resurfacing of the alley wrest of Main 4reet from Wasbington Street to Ist., alley
sout h of Washington Street under lmprovemen t Resolution No.24I0.
Now -
In the above named assessment roll, no r aeons trators appeared and no
written r emonstraices were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the p ri ses
finds that the several lots and parcels of landhave been benefited in the amounts shown
on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore;_ decides totake final action on said roll
and declares Sarre in a.11 things ratified, mnfrrmed and approved without modification
andthe proceefings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to
.1 the Deia rtment of Finance.
This being the date set, hearing was had on Va ca t ion Heso Iu tion No.2434
for the vacation of a part of iVesstmoor Street lying between Sheridan Avenue and the west

In the above named vacation resolution, no remonstrators appeared and
no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,
decides to take final action on said vacation resolution and declares same in all things
ratified, confirmed and approved without modification. The Board now orders that a list
or roll be prepared of all owners and holders of Iroperty and of valuable interests
therein sought to be taken, which list or roll shall also describe the property be ne-
• finially affected by such vacation.
This being the date set, hearing was had on vacation Resolution 1`so.2436
for the vacation Ob all alleys in blohk bounded by Bendix Drive, Kenwood Avenue, Laley
Street and Linden Avenue. (See files for copy of vacation 1--solution.)

no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,
decides to take final action on said vacation resolution and declares same in all things
retified, oonf i-.rTrd and approved without modification. The Board now orders that a
list or roll be prepared of all oixmers and holders of property and of valuable interests
therein sought to be taken, which list or roll shall also describe the property benefic-
ially affected by such vacation.
