Due to a lack of quorum, no business could. be transacted and all business scheduled for this date will be taken ire of Wednesday Evening, November 5th. , I93031 at 7-I5 P. M. ( See fi 1 es f or co py o f r esolut i on. ) In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared but no written remon ,tr^ nc e was filed. 't r. Edwin Somn rer, attorney for the German Turner Hall. Corp., remonstrated, against the utility of this improvement. After hearing all persons inter- ested in said resolution and being fully advised. in the premises, the Board decides to take finaal action on said resolution and rescinds all former action taken on same and declares same null and void and the proceedings closed. This being the dote set, hearing was had on Vacs tion Resolution N0.2404 for the Vacttion of the first alley north of Lincoln Way 1liest between Adams Street and the Ist. alley east of Adams. (See files for copy of resolution.) In the above named vacation resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed and the Boerd, being fully advised in the premises, takes final action on said vacation resolution and declares sam in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The Board noT, orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners and holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken. This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation ResoldUon No.2403 for the vacation of 1st. , alley east of Lee -per Avenue from 1-forth Shore -urive to Leeper Avenue. (See files for copy of resolution. ) In the above naned vacation res1lution, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being Rally advised in the premises, decides to take finel action on said vacation resolution, and declares same in all things re t ified, 1 confirmed and approved. The Board now orders th at a list cr roll be prepared of all owners and holders of pmlerty and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken, which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected by such vacation. In the above named vacation resolution, the Loard decides to continue hearing until Tuesday, Tovember IIth. , I930, at I0:00 A. N., and instructs the Clerk to advise all property owners affected by said vacation so that cmnsent for this alley vacation may be obtained from all concerned. Ackermen for the construction of the local seeker in ',!'alnut Street from Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resolution 1 No.2, The Board also approved the 4:00 in the amount of $1760.00. construction bold of F same in th e amount of I00,v of the contract price signed by 'United States idelity and Guarantee Company. This beinp the date set, continued hearinp was had on the assessment roll for the navemait of Cedar Street from west line of Arthur Street to Sunnyside Avenue under Im- provement Resolution No.2370. 4' In the above named assessment roll, the Board reduced the amount and spread this re��uction along the frontage of said improvement. Tof said roll $112.5 This amount of 8TT2.52 represents --. reduction in the total amount of curb which property owners conten ed eras not constructed. With this modification, rlL ich is shown in red on the assessment roll, the Board finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shown on said. roll, and therefore the Board decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved as moe.-ified and the proceedings closed. The Board novi., orders said assessment roll de- livered to the -Ue-nartment of Finance. City Engineer, 1E. G. submitted partial est-Thate Klo.I for the grade, curb and walk on Vassar Avenue frost 'Vilber Street to Adams Street in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and Eston Ball under improvement Resolution No.2393. The Eo,?rd- signed and approved same in the amount of 702.37. The 'Boerd. approved claims in the amount of ��.-?I,055.74 for various departments. Meeting adjourned at 10 P. I-J.
