Board met in regular session at 9 A. 11. Yr. John. K. Smogor absent.
Mlinutes of meeting held October 2Ist., I930, read and approved.
The Boa rd si gne d th e co nt ra ct wi th E st on Ball for t he gra de , cu rb and
walk improvement on Vassar Avenue from. Wilber Street to Adams Street under Improvemmnt
Resolutioi, N0.2393 in the amount of 826.32. The Board also approved the construction
bond of same signed by Employers Liability Assurance Corporation, for 100% of the
amount of the contract.
The Board signed the contract with E. T. Tranberg for the pavement of
the alley north of Colfax Avenue from Tro.Tyckenham Drive to Esther Street under Improve-
ment Resolution No.2397 in the amount of 21047.60. The Board also approved the con-
struction bond of same for 50�q' of the contract price signed by Employers Liability
Assur"nce Corporation.
The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of Williston Construction Company
for the pavement on 29th ., Street under Improvement Resolution No.2383 in the amount of
I,478.I5, sip ned by Inland Bonding Company.
The Board approved the Guarantee Eond of the ` n lter B . Gross for t hB
pavement of the alley east of Scott Street under Impno vemen t Resolution No.2 384 in the
amount of $104.89 signed by National Surety Company.
This being the date set, hearing eras had on t1B assessment roll snowing
the avrares of damages and assesaneats of benefits in the matter of the vacation of that
part of the Ist., alley west of Hill Street that lies west of aline running from the
S. E. corner of Lot 20 in Dinan's 2nd. , Addition to the S. E. corner of Lot I3 in
Dinans 2nd. , Ardition under Vacation Resolution No.2362.
In J11e above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appe^red and no
wrtfLten remonstrance was filed and the Bon rd, being fully advised in the premises, and
after he^ ring all persons interested in said roll, decides to take final action on said
assessment roll and declares some in all things ratified, confirmed and appro ved. and
the alley vacated and the -proceedings closed.
Upon the recommendation of yam. F• Qualls, the Board approved the install-
ation of a 4000 lumen light at. the intersection of Ironwood Drive and Hastings Street
Pt a cost of $45.00 per year.
This being the date set '-ids were received, opened and read for the`
construction of the local sewer in Walnut Street from Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue
under Improvement Resolution No. 2400. Bids are as follows:
