Wray, filed plans and the Board adopted said plans together with the follaving vacation resolutions: Vacation Resolution No.2403 for the vacation of the Ist., alley east of Leep er Avenue from North Shore 'rive to Leeper Avenue. ( See files for copy of vaca t ion. ) Vacation Resolution No.2401 for the vacation of the Ist. , alley north of Lincoln Way West betwen Adams Street and the Ist., alley east of Adams Street. • ( See f iles f or copy of re solution.) Vacation Resolution No.2405 for the vacation of the alley west of Riverside Drive from f-'udson Avenueto the north line of the alley north of Hudson Avenue. (See files for copy of i-e s olu Lion. ) i In all of the above named vacation resolutions , the Board , hereby, 1 orders that on the 5th., day of November 1930, this Board will meet in their office in the City Pall at 7-I5 P. M. , to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be affected by such vacations. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be pub1t.shed on the I7th ., day of October and on the 24th. , day of • I; October 1936, in the South Bend Tribune and Mirror according to :law. G. +7ray, filed plans, specifications and estimates and the Board. adopted said plans and specifications together with the following improve ment resolutions: Imp ra ve rent res olut ion No.240I for a local sewer on Taylor Street from 1I Indiana Avenue to 2nd. , alley ncQtth of Indiana Avenue. (See files for copy of resolution,!) Improvement resolution 11o.2402 for the pavement of the alley west of Michigan Street from Marion Street to Ist. , alley north of T�arion 6treet. (See files fc copy of resolution.) In both of the above named Improvement Resolutions, the Board hereby orders that on the 5th., day of November 1930, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. MI . , to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be affected by said improvements and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvements will I be equal to the estimated costs of same as reperted by the City -engineer. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the I7th. , day of October and on the 24th. , day of October 1930 in the .-South Beal Tribune and Mirror ac- coring to law, and that noti ces be mailed. to property owners a ccording to law. i i'he Board approved the grade of St. Joseph street from Donmoyer Avenue • to i'larneman -street as shown on schedule filed by Lity engineer, H. G. Wray. I �I City Engineer, N. G. Wray, filed the tabulations of bids for the pave- ment of the alley north of Colfax Avenue from `i'wyckenham Drive to Lsther street under Improvement resolution h8.23979 as follows: j H. N . Avenue from `l`wyckenham Drive to Esther Street under Improvement i esolut inn No.2397, the Board this I5th., day of October 1930, hereby, rakes a final order for concrete pave- ment as the type of pavement with which said street small be improved and awards the contract for said improverent to E. T. Tranberg at his low bid. of $2,047.60. This being the date set, .hear ing was had on the assessment roll f or the pavement of giddy street from 6outh Bend Avenue to City Limits under Improvement nesolu- tion No.2342. In the above names assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and. no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being- fully advised in the premises, finds • I that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shown on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, take s final Faction on said a ssessment roll and d^clares said roll in all things ratified, confirned and approved without modifica- tion. The .hoard now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance. This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment rol"_ for the pavement of Kerslake Court from 23rd. , Street to 25th. , Street under improvement Resolu- tion Ro.2366. In the above named assessment roll 1'red Kerslake was present and com- plained about the condition of said street. U. c 188 'Wednesday, October 15th., 1930. `'-Phis being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the pavement of Ceder ''treet frok West line of Arthur Street to 6unnyside Avenue under Im- provement -Hesolution No.2370. in the above named assessmnt roll, remonstrators appeared but no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, decides to continue hearing, on said roll until "VIednesday, October 29th., 19301 at 7-T5 P. 111. city -'ngineerf H. Wray, submitted the copy of the Final Estimate for the sewer Improvement on Eddy 'Street from St. Vincent Street to the CitTr Limits, in 11 accordance AIth the terms of the contract between the City and A. Spadoni, Contractor, • under Impmvement Resolution No.234I. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of $11393,74. Meeting adjourned at g.o'clock.. JK.
