Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. M. Mr. R. H. Kuss absent.
In the matter of the remonstrance against the grade, curb end walk im-
Nprovement on Carroll Street from Donmoyer Avenue to Fairview Avenue under Improvement
Resolution N6.2386, the Board finds that 6 out of IO resident property owners have
signed the remonstrance and as the constitutes a majority, the Board rescinds all forme
action taken on said resolution and declares same null and void and the proceedings clo
ed.
The Board approved the final estimate for the local sewer in Eddy Stree
from t. Vincent Street to City Limits under Improvement Resolution No.234I in the
amount of 1,32I.49.
The Board signed the contract with Williston Construction Company for.
the cone re to pavement on 29 th . , Street from Mishawaka Avenue to Grand Trunk western
R- R. under Improvement Resolution No.2383 in the amount of I5,4I7.68. The Board appre
ed the construction bona of same for 50% of the contract price signed by Inland. Bonding
Company.

Assessment Roll for the pavement on Marine Street fro, Indiana Avenue
to New York Central Railroad under Improvement Resolution No.2269.
Assessment roll for the pavement on Oakside Street from Michigan Street
to Main Street under Improvement Resolution No.2336.
Assessment Roll for the pavement on Humboldt Street from Allen Street
to Diamond Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2357.
In all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared
and no written remonstrances were filed and the Board,. beinF- fully advised in the pre-
mises, finds that the several lots and ra reels of land have been benefited in the
amount s shown on said. assessment rolls. The Board, therefore, takes final action on
said assessment rolls and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved
without modi ficatinn and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment
rolls delivered to the Del rtment of Finance.

In both of the above named assessmmnt rolls, no remonstrators appeared
and no written remonstir noes were filed. and the Board, being fully advised in the pre-
mises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said im-
provements have been benefited in the amounts shown on said assessment rolls. The Board,
therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment rolls and declares same in
all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings
closed. The Board now orders said assessmont rolls delivered to the Department of
Finance.

pavement as the type of pavement with wh ich said alley shall le improved and awards the

proved and awards the contract for said improvement to Walter B. Gross at his low bid of
1,042.60 for concrete pavement.
' The Board approved the Guarantee Bond. of the Williston Construction Company for the
grading end sewer improvement on Falcon ''treet, Kenmore Street Wellington Street,

In the above named assessment roll, the Board, hereby orders that on the 30th.,
day of September 1930, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at I0 : 00
A. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by
said assessment mall and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land have
been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said. roll. The Board further orders
that notices of said hearing shall be published on the I9th., day of "-Ieptember, on the
20th.3, day of �eptEmber and on the 26th. , d.^y of September in the South Bend News Times
lawjribune according to law and that notices be ma fled to property owners according; to
law.
This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.2390 for the
avement of the west one-half of Ironwood Drive from so to curb line of Lincoln 'Way
�ast t o concrete pavement on Ewing Avenue. (See fil es for copy of resolution.)
In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appe-ired but no written
emonstrance was filed. Several property owners were present requesting the Board to
pprove the resolution. After hearing all persons interested in said improvement resolu-
ion and being fully advised in the premises, the Board fines that the benefits to the
everal 1ots,and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal
o the estimated cost of same as reported. by the City Engineer. The Eoard, therefore,
ecides to take final action on said resolution and declares same in all things ratified,
onfi rme d and approved without modification.
The Board. approved claims in the amount of $I0,417,82 and hereby orders City Con -
roller to pay same.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the a ssessment roll fbr the local sewer
in Carlisle Street from Indiana Avenue to Prairie Avenue under Improvement resolution
No.2374.
In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written re-
monstrances were
filed and the Beard,
being fully advised in
the premises, finds that
the several lots
and parcels of land
have been benefited in
the amounts shown on said
assessment roll,
the Board, therefore,
decides to take final
action on said roll and
declares same in
all things ratified,
confirmed and approved
without modification and
the proceedings
closed. The Board now
orders said assessment
roll_ delivered to the
Depa rtme nt of Finance.
