This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improvement resolu-
Improovement Resolution No.2385 for the pavement of the alley south of Fox Street
from High Street to Ist. , alley east of Nigh Street.
Improvement Resolution No. 2386 for the grade, curb and walk improvement on
!Carroll Street from Fairview Avenue to Donmoyer Avenue.

Improvement Resolution No.2387 for ti-B grade, curb and walk improvement on
South one half of Donmoyer Avenue from Fellows Street to Nigh Street.
Improvement Resolution No.2388 for the grade, curb and walk improvement on
west one half od Fellcws Street from Irvington Avenue to Donmoyer Avenue.
In all of the above named improvement resolutions , remonstrators appeared but no
written remonstrances were filed and. the Boa. rd, being fully advised in the premises,
finds that the benefits to the several lots an(' parcels of land liable to be assessed
for said improvements will be equal to the estim,:,� ted costs of same as reported by the
City Engineer. The Board, therefore, decides to over rule the mmonstrretors and
(declares said improvement resolutions in things
all ratified, confirmed and approved

In all of t he above named improvement re solut ions, the Bce rd h ereby, orders that
on the I6th . , day of Septembe r 1930 , this Board wi 11 re ceive , open:, and read sealed
proposals for the constrition of, said improvements up to I0:00 A. M. The Board further
orders that notices of said proposals shall be published on the 5th. , day of September j
and on the 12th.lday of September 1930, in the South Bend Triune and Yirror according
to law.

In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared and, a: written
remonstrzanee was filed and the Board, being folly advised in the promises,. decides to

In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared but no written

'provercent decides t•o rescind all forimr action taken on said resolution and declares
!same null and void and the proceedings closed.

Board met in regular session at 9 A. M. All members present. Minutes of meet-
ings held September P.nd . , and September 3rd. , 1930, read and approved.
The Board approved the Excavation Bond of the South Side Plumbing Company of
Mishawaka in the amount of I,000.00 signed by The Aetaa CasuAlty and Surety Co.
The Board approved the Cuarantee Bond of The Albert Construction Company for the
pavement on Elarine Street from Indiana Avenue to New York Central Railroad under Im-
provement Resolution No . 2269 in the amount of $420.02 signed by IIet zo polnt an Casualty
Company.
The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction Company for the
pavement on Humboldt Street frp, Allen Street to Diamond Avenue under Improvement Res-
olution No.2357 in the amount of $290.02 signed by Metropolitan Casualty Company,
The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction Company for the
pavement pn Oakside Street from Michigan Street to Main Street under Improvement Resol
tion No.2336 in the amount of $296.07 signed by Metropolitan Casualty Company.
Upon the recommendation of Tfim.. F. Qualls, the Board approve' the installation of
a 4000 lumen light at the corner of Michigan and Woodt1de Streets at a cost of $45.00
per year.

This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the local
sewer in Louise Street under Improvement Resolution No.2382.
In the above named assessment roll, the Board decides to continue hearing until
Tuesday, September I6th., I930, at I0:00 A. M.
City Engineer, H. G. ¢ray, 'filed plans and the Board adopted said plans together
with the following Vacation Resolution:

lying immediately North of the portion vacated by Resolution No.2050, more particular
ly described as follows:
Beginning on the west line of Carroll Street at a point Two Hundred seventy four

and twenty five hundredths (274.251) feet south of the south line of Bronson Street,
thence southeasterly to a goint of the East line of Carroll Street distance south of
the south- dine of Bronson treet three hundred eighty and eighteen hundredths (380.I81 )!
feet, thence north along the East line of Carroll. Street, thirty rive and e :ghteen
hundredths (35. I81) feet to a point three hundred and forty-five (3451) feet south of
the south line of Bronson Street, thence northwesterly to the place of beginning.
