Tuesday, August I2th. , 1930. In the above 'named assessment roll, Bernard Neitzel appeared remonstrat- ing against his assessment for raid improvement. A report from R. L. Like, assistant Engineer,: sV oaring the alley in excellent condition, was filed with the Board. After hearing all persons interested in said improvement and. being fully advised sed i n the nremis es, theBoard. decides to take final action on said assessment roll, and finds that the seteral lots and parcels of land_ have been benefited in the amounts shorn on said assess ment roll, and therefore the Board declares samd assessment roll in all things ratified confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance. The Board signed the contre ct for the cons truction grade, curb and walk on South Side of Indiana �avenye from Brookfield. Street to 01ive reef under Im-croveme±: Resolution N;o.2376, in. the amount of �'?872.40. The Board also approved. the eons+ruction bond of same in the amount of I00 of the contract price signed by the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co. , o f Baltimore . The Board signed the contract with 0. L. Davis for the grading of Johnson Street frcri south line of Pershing Street- to 11ilson Street under Improver_ient Resolution. No.2377 in the amount of $619.36. The Board also approved the construction bond of same for 50 o of the contra. ct price signe d. by Iklietropolitan Casualty Insurance Co. The Board approved the Excavation Bond of Samuel SltAtsky in the amount of 000.00 signed by the Ohio Casualty Insurance Comreny of Hamilton. The Board approved a claim bf E. T. Tranberg in the amount of $244.00. R. under Improvement Resolution NO.23E301 the Board this I9th. , day of August I930, hereby, makes a final order for sheet asphalt as the type of navffnnent with which said street shall be improved and awards the contract for slid improvement to Albert Construction Company at their bid of `�5,041,75. In the above named assessment roll, the Board decides to continue herring until Tuesday, August 26th 19301 at I0 : 00 A. Y . City Engineer, F. G Wray, submitted the fo llaxr ing report on the remon- strance filed against the pavement on ?9th., Street under Improverent Resolution N0.2383 There are 40 resident property owners, 15 of whom have signed the r emon- strence. This does not constitute a majority of property owners and. the Board, therefor sustains all former action taken on said im-provement resolution. 171 • • 0 •
