The Board of appraisers appointed in the matter of the open-
ing of Fancy Street from Crumstcvn -Road to Lincoln 11ay West, filed the primary assess-
ment roll showing the awards of damages and assessments of benefits in the matter of
the Condemnation of paid property. under -Resolution No.23210 i
In the above na ned. assessment roll, the Board, hereby, orders
that on the 29th., day of July 1930, this Board will meet in their office in the City ;
Hall at I0:00 A. M. , to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested. in �
or affected by said condemnation and will decid.e.whetYer. the several lots and parcels
of land have been or will be benefited Or tamaged in the amounts shorn on said roll or
in a greater or less sum than that shown on said null. The Board further orders that
notices of said hearing together with the amounts of d.amges and benefits gward.ed or •
assessed -against each piece of property,, be delivered to all property owners according j
to law.

A petition having been filed by the Board showing I3
resident property owners out of 24 askinf for concrete pavement on Cedar Street from
Arthur Street to Sunnyside Avenue under mprovement Resolution No.2370, the Board, this'
I5th. , day of July I930, hereby, makes a final order fcr concrete pavement a.s the
type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and awards the contract for

said improvement to Rieth Riley Construction Company at th(eitr levi bid of 6,371.60.
The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of T. Tra nberg foci
the pavement of the alley east of Miami Street from Victoria Street to Altgeld Street
under Improvement Resolution No.2297 in the amount of 88.65 signed by Fidelity and H
Casualty Company of New York.
This being the date set, continued hearing ras had on the

Whereupon the Board, received, opened and read the follc ing sealed proposals for

This being the de to set, continued hearing was had on Improvement
Resolution No.2376 for the sidewalk improvement on the south side of Indiana Avenue
from Brookfield Street to Olive Street.
In the above named improvement resolution, City Engineer filed
the following report on th.e remoras trance f iled showing 8 ze s ident property pwners
on the street, Four of whom have signer the remonstrance. This does not constitute
a majority, therefore', the Board deciddss to over rule said remonstrance and finds
that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said
improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer
The Board , therefore, decides to take final action on said improvement and declares
saw in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification. The Board now orders that sealed proposals for the construction of
walk on the south side of Idnaian Avenue. from Olive Street to Brookfield Street under
Improvement Resolution No.2376, shall be received, opened and read up to I0:00 A. M.

City Engineer, H. G. gray, filed plans, specifications and estimates
and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together Improvement Rdsolution
No.2383 for the pavement of 29th. , Street from Mishawake Avenue to. the Grand Trunk
Western R. R. ( See files for copy of resolution.)
In the above named impmvenent resolution, the Board, hereby, orders
that on the 6th., day of, August, 1930, this Board. will x�ExxEKZx
x meet in their office in the City Hall at 7- 5 P. M., to hear and
receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be assessed for said improve
men and wi11 decide whether the benefit s to the several lots and parcels of land liable
to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimate cost of same as re-
ported by the City Engineer.

been f sssessed fcr said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the several
lots and parcels of land are equal to the amounts shown on said roll.

property owners for the privilege of painting house numbers on the curbs in front of
houses and. to charge and collect from said property owners the fee of 25g for each
number sp painted.
