The board. approved the following Guarantee Bonds: Guarantee pond of Rocco Simeri for the local sewer in Sorin Street under Improvement 1�esolution.No.2326 in,the amount of $133.37 signed by National Surety Company. Guarantee Bond of Rocco Simeri for the sewer in Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2244 in the amount of $1 274.91 signed by National 'jurety Uo. Guarantee Bond of floc co Simeri for the sewer in Wi is on Avenue under Improvement xesoluti on No.2329 in the amount of U34.42 signed by National Surety Co. The Boa.,rd signed the contract with Rocco dimeri for the construction of a server in Carlisle Street under Improvement -Resolution ITo.2374 in 1 e amount of $31490.13. The Board also approved. the construction bond of same for I04 ' of the con- tract price signed by N.,tional Surety Company. The Board approved the ie commendat ion of "*n . Malls, with reference to underground conduit to be laic', by the American 1'elepb.one and Telegraph 8ompeny, was approved by the Boa rd : To the Honorable Board of public �vorks Gent le m;n : The work to be done by the American Telephone end Telegraph Company at this time, outlined in attached blue prints, is the laying of underground conduits !; on Scott 'street, from Visyne to T�apier 'street,and on Napier street ffom Scott Street 1 to Chapin street, to connect with their manhole existing on Chapin 6treet . 'I As Scott Street and Napier utreet are both paved with brick and already in bad condition, I can see no objection to granting the petition covering this l section. Further, the laying of underground. conduits on "ivision Street from Olive Street to the City Limits West. As most of the sidewalk that is now in is in bad condition, I recomn that this retition be granted to lay conduit in the sidewalk area with the understandi that new sidewalk will be put in at the expense of the Telephone Company. The Board approved a drive way plan for filling station at the -corner of Indiana Avenue and Magnolia Street. Claims in the amount of $8,732.IS for pay rolls in various departments were signed and approved by the Board. A claim in the. amount of $6.85 filed ageinst the street department by E. Seilenbinder for damages to car by street department flusher, was signed and approved by the Board and ordered paid. Meeting adjourned at 12 o'clock jioon. This being the date set, hecr ings were had on tine following assessment rolls: Assessment roll for the local sewer in Fuey Street from -Rlwood Avenue to Feller Street under Impmvem.ent -Resolution No.2330. Assessment roll for the local.se-wer in Wila)n Avenue from Ironwood Drive to 24th., Street under Improvement Resolution No.2329. Assessment roll for the local sewer in Sorin Street from East line of Iviadison Park �ddit ion to Twyckenham Drive under Improvement Resolution JNo.2326. Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley east of Miami Street from Victoria Street to Alt fteld Street under Improvement Resolution No.2297. In all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators a. peered and. no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, fins t-at the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shown on said assessment rolls. The Board, there f ore., takes final action on said assessment rolls and declares sane in all think ratified, confirmed and appro ed and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the department of finance. This being the date set, heari g was had on the assessment roll for the pipe sewer in Ewing A -venue under Improvement esoluti on. No.2244. In the above named assessment roll, Clarence E. Perkins owner of five lots, appeared and remonstrated against his assessments on said lots for said improvement. After hearing all persons int ere ste d in said improvement and no wrtt.ten remonstrances be ing f iled, the Board decides to continue hearing until Tuesday, July 15th . , 1930 , at I0: 00 A. N. This being the date set, hearings were had on the follcwing vaca. ti on assessment rolls: Assessment roll for the vacation of the alley west of Pulaski Street from Division street to alley south of Division Street under Vacation Resoluti No.2323. Assessment roll for the vacation of the alley west of Kosciuszko Street from Division Street to alley south of Division Street under Vacatio Resolution No.2322.
