Board net in regular session at 7-I5 P. M. John K. Smogor absent.
This being the date set, continued hearings were had on the follcKing
impro vemen t re so lutions :
Improvement Resolution No.2368 for the pavement on Oliver Street from
Bubail Avenue to Bruch Street. (See files for copy of resolution.)
Improvement Resolution No.237I for the pavement on Oedar 6treet from
unnyside Avenue to Twyckenl�em Dtive.t See files for copy of re solution.)
• Improvement Resolution NNo.2369 for the pavement on Cedar Street from
j Eddy Street to Arthur Street. ( See files for oopy of resolution.)
In all of the above named improvement resolutions, remonstr tors
appeared and written remonstrances were filed and the Boa rd , being fully advised in the
premises decides to rescind all former action taken on said improvement resolutions
and declares same null and void and the proceedings closed.
This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution
N6.2373 for the pavement cC Melkus Iourt from Oak Street to Lincoln Way West. (See
files for copy of resolution.)
In the above named improvemart,resolution,, -emonstrators appsered end
a. written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised. in the premises,
decides to tescind all former action taken on said improvement resolution and declares
same null and void and the proceedings closed.
This being the date set, continued hearing was had on Improvement
Resolution No.2370 for the. pavement of Cedar Street from west line of Arthur Street to
Sunnysi de Ave nue. ( See files for copy of resolution.)
In the above named improvement re solution, no remonstrators appeared

and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully wised in the promises
finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed
for said improvement will be equal to the
estimated cost of same as reported by the
City Engineer. The Board,,
therefore , takes final action on said improvement resolution
declares
and same in all things ratified, eonf irmed and approved without modification.
The board nog
orders that. on the Ist. , de.y of July 1930, this Board will receive, open
and read sealed proposals for the construction of said improvement up to IQ:.00 A M.
' The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published on the 20th
day of June and on the 27 th. , day of June 1930 in the South Bern Tribune and News Times
according to law.

In both of the above named improvement M solutions remonstrators
jappeared hnd written remonstrances were filed and the Board, after hearing all persons
A intere ste d in said impro vement s and being fully advised in the premises, finds that
,the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said
1improvements will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City
"Engineer and that these improvements are necessary. The Board, therefore, decides to
. ,overrule said remonstrances and declares said improvement resolutions in all things
;ratified, confirmed and approved. The board now orders that on the Ist., day of July
'jI930 , this Board will re ceive , open and read set: -led proposals for the construction of
lsaid. improvements up to I0:00 A. M. The Board further orders that notices of said
jproposal s shall be published on the 20 th. , day of June a#d on t Yee 27th. , day of June
930, in the South Bend Tribune and Mirror according to law.

Assessment roll for the sewer in "it son Avenue from Ironwood Drive to
124th. , Street under Improvement Resolution No.2329 .
Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley east of Miami Street
• 'from. Victoria Street to Altgeld Street under Improvement Resolution No.2397.
In both of the above named assessment rolls, the Board, hereby, . orders

day of July 1930, as the time when said Board shall either pass on petition for a change
in the type of pavement other than that specified in the preliminary order, award the
contract or re.jeet all bids.
Bids having been received for the pavermnt of Humboldt Street from

as the time when said Board shall either pass on petitions for a change in the type
of pavement other than that specified in the preliminary order, award. the contract or
reject all bids.

The Board approved the f in 1 estimate for the pavement of the alley
east &f Miami street from Victoria Street to Altgeld Street under Improvement Resolu-
tion 17o.2297. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of $886.55.
This being the date sett. hearing was h^d on theassessment roll for
the pavement of the alley west of Cushing Street under Improvemant Resolution No.
2310.
In the above named assessment roll no remonstrators ap eared and

no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises
!; finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts
shown on 'saic assessment roll. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said
assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved with
out modification andthe proceedings closed`. The Bo-rd nor orders said assessment
roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
