M. .All members present. j This being the date set, hearinfz were had on the following improve ment resolutions: Improvement Resolution No.2342 for ih.e pavement of Eddy street- ij a 3 foot strip on each side of the County Pavement, from north curb dine of South Bend Avenue to City Limits. i Improvement Resolution No.2350 for the pavement of the alley west Scott Street Dubai Avenue • of from 1 to Calvert Street. Improvement Resolution No.2349 for the pavement of the alley west of Riverside Drive from It. Joseph Street to Npvarre Street. Resolution No.235I for the of the alley west itImprovement pavement i, of Taylor Street from LaSalle Avenue to I st.: alley nor th of LaSalle Avenue. In all of the above rammed improvement resolutions, some remonstrators appeased but no written remonstrances were filed a.nd the Board, after hearing all -oersons interested in said improvements finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcle s of land liable to be assessed fcr said improvements will be equal to j i� the -estimated costs of same as reported by the City Engineer and that the improvements are necessary. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said improvement resolutions and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification. The Board now orders that on the I3th., day of Ma,y, I930, this Board will receive, open and read sealed proposals for the construction of said improvements up to I0:00 *A. 1s. The Board' further oriters that notices of said proposals shall be published on the 2nd . , day of Lay and on the 9th. , day of Msy 1930 in the South Bend Tribune and TAirror according to law. jl This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution for the pavement of the alley north of Ostemo Avenue from Lafayette Street to Irquois Street under Improvement Resolution 1,To.2344. In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared but a written remonstrance had previously been filed. The Board, beings fully advised in the premises, decides to over rule said remonstrance and finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said impzovement will be equal to the estimated cost of same and that the im_pzovement is necessary and therefore, takes final action on said resolution and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The Board now orders that on the I3th., day of May I930,, this Board ii will receive, open and read sealed proposals for the construction of said improvement up to I0:00 A. IT. The Boa.rd further orders that notices of said proposals shall be I published on the 2nd., day of ray and on the 9th., day of Ilay 1936, in the South Bend ribune and Xirror according to law.
