of meeting held February 25th., I930, read and approved:
City Engineer, H. G. 1461ra y, filed the tabulations of bids for tie pavement
of the West N of Logan Street from -Jefferson Boulevard to Mishawaka I, venue under Irripro-
vement Resolution No.2321. Tabulations are as follows:

Bids having been received for the pavement of the west 'J of Logan Street
from Jefferson Boulevard to Mishawaka Avenue under Improvement Resolution No,2321 the
Board this 4th. , day of March 19309 hereby makes a preliminary order fcr concrete pave-
ment light traffic as the type. of pavement with which said street shall be improved and
sets the I8th . , day of 11f=arch 1930 , as the time when said Board shall either act on
petitions for a change in the preliminary order, award the contract or reject all bids,
The Board renEwed the contraof with the Van Trump Testing Laboratory for
sheet asphalt inspection and signed said contract in duplicate.
Upon the recommendation of Sri. F. Qualls, the Board appzove-1 the petition
of the Indiana and Michigan "'lectri c Company to install conduit line on Y1 in Street fro
City Ball Court to LaSalle Avenue with th the privilege cf the City to use one duct for
trafffic signal cables.
The Board approved certain extras in favor of Gerber and_ Haley, contract-
ors for remodeling of City Hall, as shown. on Tlnritten estimate dated lf'�nrch 3rd. I930
totaling `�553.50. ' '
This being the da to set , cont inued hearing was he d on Cond emnat ion
Resolution No.2312 for the ope ing of Washington 6treet from Orange street to Bendix
Drive.
In the above named condemnation resolution No.2312, the Board decides to
continue herring until Tuesday, March t�5t$. , I930.
itThe Board approve: the Guarantee Fond of Rocco Simeri i`b r the sewer in
estmoor Street from Kenmore Street to Sheridan Avenue under Impro.veraent Resolution
111o.22859 in the amount of $I,287.40.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the
li sewer improvement on Westmoor Street from Kenmore Street to Sheridan Avenue under Imp
vement Resolution No.2285.
In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeered and no
written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, fin
that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shoorn on
said primary assessment roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on
said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved
w1thout modification and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment
roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
`fhe�Bonrd approved the insurance policy covering ±',iver Park Fire Station
in the amount of pl5,000.00.
The Board approved the Estimate No.I in favor of Gerber and Haley in the
amount of $3,360.00, which represents approximately 80 % of completed work,) as shown
on contract with said cont-^actors, for the remodeling of City Hall.
Upon the recommen. da ti on of City Engineer, H. G. 'Vray, , fhe Board approved
the grade of Twyckenham Drive from Palmer Blvd., to Campeau Street; the grade of lell-
ington Street from Jefferson Blvd., to Linden Avenue; the grade of Kenmore Street from
Jefferson Blvd.., to Linden Avenue, as shown on schedules submitted.
j Upon tl.e recommendation cC City Ln.gineer, H. G. Iffray, the Board approved
redissburseament s of assessments on Lot 16 in D. C. Egglestons Addition for the River
Park sewer. Also for the N2 of Lot II, Y. E . Listenberger s Ist. , Addition for the
Howard Street Pavement. Clerk is ordered to deliver same to City Controller .
dedication: The Board approved the plat of Boulevard Park Addition with the following
PLAT (' BOULE VA FD PARK.
The annexed. plst is a plat of Boulevard Perk, an addition to the City of
South Bend, Indiana, and comprises the tract ce land described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of the northwest 1 of Section '35 Twp.
3S N- R 2E. Thence north along the east line of the northwest of said Section 35, a
distance of 334,881 to the south line of Riverside Drive i thence north 61 degrees, 41

thence on a 7 degree 00 minute curve to the right along the southwesterly line of
Riverside Drive, a distance of 547.85 feet, thence on a tangent still along the south-
westerly line of Riverside Drive a distance of 196.05 feet, thence on a 2 degree 30 sec
and I8 minute curve to the left still along the southwesterly line of Riverside .Drive
a distance of 185.99 fet to the southeasterly, line of the 14 foot alley east of Wood -
lawn Boulevard, thence southwesterly along the southeasterly line .of the alley east of
Kood lawn Boulevard a. distance of 1069.58 feet to the intersection of the southeasterly
.line of the alley east of T oodla, n Boulevard, and the east line of the 14 foot alley
east of Kessler Boulevard, thence south along the east line of the. alley east of Kessle
Boulevard, a distance of .398.77 feet to the south line of the northwest ' of said
Section 35, thence east along the south line of the northwest of said Section 35, a
distance cf 1389#44 feet to the place of beginning.
The plat contains 133 lots bumbered from I to I33 inclusive.
The size of the lots and the width of the streets and alleys is marked on
the plat in feet and decimals of feet.
The streets and alleys are hereby dedicated to the public fo' r use .as public

Claims in the amount of $2,4II:27' for the P.unicipal Air Port were signed
and approves the City Controller is hereby ordered to pay same out of the .fir Port Fund.1
The Board also approved a shim of 1!m. and Mary Matthews against the Air
Port fn the amount of $900.00 representing, the payment due on the contract on March I st .

Bids having been received for the pavement and sewer improvements in
Boulevard Park Addition, the Board this 4th. 9 day of March 1930, hereby awards the
contract for said improvement to Rieth Riley Construction Company at their low bid of
$779037.30 for 611 reinforded concrete pavement.
