Director of the T-unicipal Air Fort to replace John Kuespwrt uhose resignation was

The board pay roll claims for various department s in the amount of
6,037.02 and hereby orders City Controller to pay same.
The board pay roll claims in connection with 'hack Elevation in the
amount of 4p433.33 and herby orders City Controller to pay same out of Track Elevation
fund .
The Board instructed City Lngineer; H— G. 'firay, to prepare plans
and a resolution for the widening of Division �'Itre et between Taylor Street and Olive
Street, so that action may be taken on this ma. j or project at the earliest possible date

City Bnpineer, H. G. 17ray filed the primary assessment roll for
the pavement on Prairie Avenue from ebster street to Grant 6treet under Improvement
Resolution 1,1o.2275.
In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that
on the Ilth. , day of December 1929, this Board will meet in their office in the City I
Ball at 7-I5 D. 11., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and �
parcels of land have been or Frill be benefited in the amounts shown on said. primary
roll or in a greater or less sum than that shown on said roll. The Board further orde"s

that notices of said hearing shall be -published. on the 6th. , day of December and on I

The Board signed the contract with E. T. Tranberg for the pavement '
of the alley north of LaSalle Avenue from Street Street to, West line of lot N0.7 Keefe s
Sub under Improvement Resolution No.2298 in th.e amount of $2,231.07. The Board also
9p.proved the construction bond of same in the amount cC 50'b of the contract price
signed by The Fidelity and C.sualty Company of few York.
The Board, si{=_-ned the contract with E0. T. Tranberg for the pavement
of the alley east of Miami `'treet from Victoria Street to Altgeld Street, under Impro
vement Resolution 1,-`0.2297 in the amount of 4892.30. The Board also approved the -
construction bond of same for 50- of the contract price signed by Fidelity and Casualt
Comp -ny of New York.

the bond. of same for 100% of the contract price siE-ned by Metropolitan Casualty Insur

sewer and pavement improvement on Vnncy and. Other Streets, in accordance with, the terms
of the contre ct be tween the City and the lilliston Construction Company, Contractors
under Improvement Resolution No . 228 6 . The Board signed and app m ved same in the amount
of28,28I.56.

In the above named vacation resolution Tlo.23I6 no remonstrators appear
ed and no writ°en.remonstrence was filed. and the Board, therefore, decides to take
take final action on said vacation resolution and declares same dll things ratified,
confirmed and approved without modification and the alley vacated.

In all of the above named assessment rolls, the Board decides to
continue hearings until Tuesday, Decanber IOth. , I929, at I0:00 -L. M.
The Board approved claims in the amount of $6,247.11 for various
Departmnts.

Company for interest in the amount of 06,933.02, which amount is to be paid out of
Track Removal Fund and the City Controller is hereby ordered to pay same out of said
fund,
The Board also approved a. claim of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad
